Opening the F1 console breaks my VC and movement keybinds?

I like to play custom music in this game, and it used to work just fine. But today I hopped back in after a month break, and now opening the F1 console breaks my game. I'm not sure if it's actually a holdfast issue or a computer issue or what, but I can find literally nothing on it so I figured it wouldn't hurt to make a post here.

I've verified my game files, reinstalled the game, restarted my computer, removed all my MIDI files, and rebound my keys, but I still cant open the console without breaking specifically my movement and vc binds. I can jump, mute, shoot, aim, type, all of that. I can even play my music! Just can't walk or talk. I think the first time I pressed F1, Microsoft edge opened itself to a website? or a help page maybe? I'm not sure, regrettably I closed it without looking. I don't use Edge and it's not my default browser. I'm not sure if it's actually related to my issue or if I just fat-fingered some unknown other keybind that opens edge. It hasn't opened in any of my other attempts so I guess it'd be the latter. I've also noticed that after pressing F1 while the game is open makes my mouse curser invisible outside of the game. But closing the game brings my curser back. Pressing F1 without the game open doesn't seem to effect my PC in any way, so I think it's a holdfast issue. But this is all out of my league so idk.

Very weird and frustrating issue, would love it if someone happened to know how to fix this.
