Suspending an ebook after you’ve hit Borrow?

I’m listening to book 1 of a series. Book 2 just became available and I’m eager to read it while book 1 is still fresh in my mind. However, I already have two other e-books checked out, and I waited on hold forever to get them. Is there any wat to suspend the two that I already have checked out?
