does anyone have experience with taking the affair to HR?

my girlfriends boyfriend took the letter i wrote to his wife to HR. that was a woman my GF called her good friend. did not go as well as I would have hoped but I still work there, but so does he. my ex partner is gone, but it’s been a while.

anyone else done that, and how did it go?

any HR professionals that can weigh in? its often given as advice in these scenarios.
