Started a drone startup in 2024, family business fell apart, now drowning in loans with no profit — how do I get out of this?

Discussion :discuss:

In mid-2024, I started a drone startup — covering training, sales, and innovation. At the same time, I was handling a family business that was running well. I thought I could manage both.

I invested 3 lakhs into the startup. Early momentum felt good.

Then things at home collapsed. My dad started drinking heavily. The stress hit me hard without me realizing it. I stopped seeing the business numbers clearly — I thought sales were okay, but profit wasn’t there. Instead of stopping to audit the situation, I started taking loans to cover the gaps. I didn’t consult anyone. I didn’t tell my mom. I just kept going, thinking it would turn around.

It didn’t.

Now I’m sitting on multiple loans, no clear profit, a startup I still believe in, and a family situation I can’t fully control. I’m not here to blame anyone — I know that doesn’t help. But I’m also stuck and honestly going through a rough patch mentally.

I’m looking for:

1.	How do I get a clear picture of my actual financial position right now?

2.	Is there a realistic way to restructure early-stage debt in India?

3.	Has anyone actually come back from a situation like this — startup + personal financial collapse at the same time?

Just looking for honest advice, not judgment
