BIOS Update help!!!

Hi, I need some help with updating my motherboard's BIOS. Faceit AC requires FPTM 2.0, and I understand that to enable it, I need to update the BIOS. However, I'm unsure if this will cause instability on my PC. I have a Ryzen 5 5500 and an RX 7600. If I update and experience stability or FPS issues, I can't revert to the previous BIOS version. So, I'd like some help deciding whether to update or not. Is it normal for FPS or stability problems to appear after a BIOS update? (My motherboard is an ASRock A320M HDV-R4.0). If anyone has this same motherboard and has updated the BIOS, I would appreciate it if you could share your experience. Also, if anyone knows about this and is willing to help, I would be grateful.
