Most expense trackers force you to create an account, push subscriptions, or harvest your data. I wanted something private and fast, so I built Monity.

**Today, I’m rolling out our biggest update yet based on user feedback:**

🚀 What’s New:

Monthly Budgets: Set a global spending limit. A sleek progress bar on the home screen shifts from Gold to Red as you near your limit, so you instantly know your pacing.

Custom Categories: You’re no longer locked to defaults. Create personalized categories with your own custom colors and icons.

✨ For those new to Monity, here is what we do:

**100% Offline & Private:** No cloud, no logins, no tracking SDKs. Your data never leaves your local database.

Smart SMS Auto-Detection: Automatically logs bank and UPI transaction alerts (parsed entirely on-device, nothing is sent to a server).

**Clean Analytics:** Distraction-free charts to see exactly where your money goes.

**Premium Dark UI:** A minimal, ad-free, "dark luxury" design that gets out of your way.

If you just want an expense tracker that respects your privacy and looks great doing it, I’d love for you to try it out.

No accounts, no data harvesting. Just a clean, 100% offline expense tracker - now with Monthly Budgets.
