Had to choose.

Venting, advice welcome

To give context, my biological family are extremely abusive and toxic. I've tried my hardest to keep my siblings safe and all I've gotten for my efforts is pain. I ran away when I was about seventeen and got stuck in the wrong crowd. It traumatized me and got me in a dark place. However, this issue did not involve my family. The only person who was concerned with my whereabouts was my sister, someone who helped drive me to run away with her behaviour and support of her mother's (my bio) abuse of me. This is relevant.

I met someone, and we are engaged. He's autistic, like me, and is a complete sweetheart. He doesn't phrase things very well, it is something we have been working on. My sister has never tried to get to know him. Not through any video call (which I've reached out to her on with him in it directly addressing her), when she visits (which have been completely dependent on her wife), nothing. And she makes these broad statements about him that are just not true because she thinks I've 'run away' again.

I am a 34-year-old man. I might be on the spectrum, but I've lived alone longer than her. Been independent, in all parts of my life.

She thinks my partner is some weird, evil man that is manipulating me. She has no proof at all besides the word of her wife who has had a psychological breakdown and I've known to fib. Caught her in a few of them but said nothing. There had been no point.

He's not. Even if we didn't work out, he'd help me. My partner is not the type to mistreat anyone.

It got worse when she decided to involve a mutual friend of ours in this. She tried to convince this friend that my partner was bad and to take her side to put a wedge between us. I never brought up our issues to this friend. But she clearly does not have the morals to see that this isn't just a spat. I honestly feel like that teenager that had to sleep in the backyard because of her mother again. I ran away because of behaviours like this.

She's using my traumas against me, which is something truly disgusting to me. I get she has anxiety, but nobody has the right to make their anxieties other people's. She needs help but won't tell her therapist everything outright as it happened. She won't get the help she needs until she's 100% honest.

I don't know what to do than push her out of my life at this point.
