Pakistanis should focus on boxing or UFC because these two sports have the most clout and least government spending

Every team sport from football to basketball requires government support. Basketball is run by black Americans even though the NBA pays tons of money. Wrestling is a great sport with clout but it's very competitive with generational talent from Iranians, Azeris, Turks, Dagestanis, even america does well in wrestling

Cricket has no clout, doesn't promote fitness, it only has 11 players, only countries like India care about. Even Australians who dominate cricket do not care about it and prefer Rugby. The British who made cricket see it as an upper class weak sport. There is also no money in it apart from the national team.

Track and field is a good sport but good luck trying to outrun Jamaicans with years of experience and infrastructure in it

Boxing doesn't require government support apart from local sponsors, you can always go to America or Europe for bigger fights, you have no gate keepers trying to deny you entry like I'm cricket, there is way more clout in the sport and its a legit sport to people, there is also tons of money being made.

UFC should also be pursued because there is clout in it as well.
