DA is ghosting us on an MTR warrant
Hey everyone, seeking some advice on a situation in Denton County, TX. I finished all my probation requirements for a misdemeanor DWI a while back.. However, there’s an old MTR warrant still active that needs to be quashed so I can finally finish. My PO is actually helpful and has been trying to get the DA to sign off on an interlock release and a discharge order, but the DA hasn’t been responding to any of the requests. I live out of state now and I’m really trying to get this sorted out without having to travel back in person. Has anyone dealt with a DA’s office that just ghosts the PO like this even when everything is finished? Also looking for a solo lawyer who handles simple filings for a flat fee (ideally under $1k). Most firms want huge retainers, but since I'm already in compliance, I’m just looking for help getting the paperwork in front of a judge.
