What can you do if the visa processing is delayed and your flight date is approaching? Any way to contact IRCC?

Hi Redditors, I have been researching about the possibilities to contact IRCC, and it seems that the only way to contact IRCC is through the webform. However, it seems they do not respond to webforms even after 4 weeks. There is only the automatic email confirmation.

If your booked vacation is really close now, what can you do? I have previously applied for all kinds of visas (US, NL, DE, JP, GB, TR) in the past years. I have never experienced that it takes such a long time for visa processing.

I have planned 3 months period for the visa application, because I know many countries don't allow for application more than 3 months in advance. For example, Japan doesn't want you to apply to early. However, now it seems that even 3 months is too short for Canada.

I am based in the Netherlands. I have tried contacting the Canadian Embassy, but I got a response that IRCC is the one to be contacted. I have tried calling VFS Global Helpline, but I got told to contact either IRCC or the Canadian Embassy. However, the IRCC phone number can only be called when you live in Canada. If calling from outside Canada, your call will automatically be ended. And for the webform, they don't respond after 4 weeks.

Do you know anyway to reach IRCC London? We've been planning from January and really looking forward to the May vacation in Canada. I truly hope I can make it. It would mean a few thousand euros loss for us and all the efforts in vacation planning goes to waste.

Still no update end of April

My flight departs on 14th May, I am desperate and there is no possibility in contacting IRCC. They do not respond with webform.
