Anyone else thought the same about Carnival Tropicale ?

So we all know the new excel class ship (Tropicale) will be sailing out of Galveston. My only thought is that I can only see it doing the Western Caribbean itineraries such as Mexico & Honduras since its the closest to Galveston but the Jubilee already does that. I was wondering why couldn't it be at least Puerto Rico or San Diego (where NCL uses their large ships for Mexican Riviera/Panama Canal itineraries) or Miami etc. Anyone else think or thought the same too? Why need another excel ship for exactly what the Jubilee is doing?
