Hi all — would really appreciate some insight while I’m waiting on cardiology follow-up.

**Background:**

38F, generally healthy

History of **recurrent fainting**, often:

after alcohol

when dehydrated

sometimes if I haven’t eaten

**Recent episode:**

Fainted at \~5am after a night out (alcohol + vomiting, hadn’t eaten much)

Hit my face → went to urgent care

ECG done there

**ECG findings (machine report):**

QTc: **623 ms**

QT: 579 ms

PR: 122 ms

QRS: 61 ms

Rate: 71 bpm

“Abnormal ECG”

“Anteroseptal infarct — age indeterminate”

T wave abnormalities

I’ve been referred to cardiology for **recurrent syncope**.

**Other info:**

No regular medications

No known heart conditions

Vitals at the time were stable (HR \~91, BP 106/72, O2 100%)

ECG noted NSR

**Questions:**

How reliable is a QTc reading this high from an automated ECG? (623 seems extreme)

Could this be explained by **electrolytes/dehydration alone**, or does this level strongly suggest underlying long QT syndrome?

Given the history of fainting, how high-risk does this presentation sound?

How likely is the “anteroseptal infarct” note to be a false positive in someone my age?

What tests would you expect next (Holter, echo, genetic testing, etc.)?
