(USA) On Boarding question

So I never got my welcome interview after I was hired. I haven't started a shift yet, they said I start on the 1st. After I got hired I got a text with the on boarding stuff and just completed it with that work. I called the store and talked to the same manager and told him I never got the email and did the onboarding. He assured me it might take some time for the email but I did complete the most important thing, the onboarding. Also got a text with a temp login and pass and still no email.

They warned me if I didn't complete the onboarding I can't work there until its done so should I be worried? Maybe he wrote it down wrong or something.
