People should get kangaroos as security animals instead of dogs
What's so much better about a kangaroo instead of a dog? Look at it this way.
Kangaroos are generally much more quiet than a barking dog, and stand up to 6 feet tall. If someone breaks into your home, or even your yard at night, they'll get jump-kicked so hard the second they go around a corner or bush at your home and probably not walk away uninjured. A dog, on the other hand, is a lot more vulnerable because they're barking and a home invader is probably prepared to deal with a dog, not a literal kangaroo. Also kangaroos can chase humans much better due to their speed, and won't even let them flee for their lives.
Are there drawbacks or limitations? Sure, especially if you live outside of Australia, but the benefits of a guard kangaroo far outweigh any downsides. The only limitation is that they are not domesticated yet, so it might take a few generations before they stop drop kicking you as well. It'll just take time.
