Tracking says package has been in other countries?

So I ordered an item a few days ago and I had some strange situation with it like delay with vinted updating the package being in progress of delivery. The email I got from the delivery service when the person placed the parcel in the locker was sent to me a few hours prior to the vinted update, which I felt wasn't that concerning but it was definitely strange and hasn't happened before. Today I decided to track it and see where it is now because I ordered it from within my country which means I usually get it in 2 days. I looked on vinted but I like to use parcelsapp because it gives me more details. Never had a problem with parcelsapp prior to this. On vinted it appears as normal but whenever I go to parcelsapp it says the package started being in transit since april 10th and went from peru to some other place before ending up with my delivery company which is really weird? What is the explanation for this happening?? Is this a mistake on parcelsapp end or should I contact the delivery company about this?
