Serious Question: If you're buying into breaks with the hope to hit a valuable card to then sell it, why are you choosing breaks as your choice of gambling?

This isn't directed to people who buy into breaks to build their collection. The title speaks for itself.

Breaks have an absolutely horrendous expected return of value compared to sports betting or blackjack, etc. So, for those that buy into breaks just hoping to hit a card to then sell it - why are you doing this?
