Unpopular opinion: Season 3 deserves more respect because it had an impossible job
I know Season 3 isn’t usually seen as one of the best Wolfblood seasons, and I understand why.
The vibe changed, Maddy was gone, and the show never felt exactly the same after Seasons 1 and 2.
But honestly, I think Season 3 had one of the hardest jobs in the whole show.
It had to continue the story after losing one of the main characters (if not the most main character), keep Rhydian important, introduce Jana more seriously, expand the Wolfblood world, and somehow make the show still feel emotionally connected to what came before.
Was it perfect? No. Not even close.
But I think people sometimes judge it only by what it lost, not by how difficult it was to keep the show alive after such a massive change. Season 3 had to rebuild Wolfblood while still carrying the shadow of Maddy’s absence, and I think that’s a much harder task than people give it credit for.
So yeah, maybe it isn’t the best season - but I do think it deserves more respect.
