I’m writing this because when I was looking up Hotel Collections reviews, I wish I had seen something like this before buying.

I bought a Hotel Collections Presidential unit in 2024.

At first, I actually liked it.

For the first few months, the scent was noticeable, the unit seemed to work properly, and I thought I had made a good purchase.

Then the scent started getting weaker and weaker.

I went through all the troubleshooting steps with Hotel Collections multiple times. I cleaned it, adjusted it, reset it, followed their instructions, and kept calling back.

Eventually, I found out the issue was likely the atomizer.

That part needed to be replaced.

That’s where the nightmare started.

Instead of replacing the part, Hotel Collections kept telling me to troubleshoot more and call back later.

I did that.

Then I called again.

Same thing.

Troubleshoot again. Wait. Call back.

This happened around three times.

Then, when I finally called back again, they told me the unit was out of warranty.

That was the part that really pissed me off.

From my perspective, they dragged out the technical support process until the product was out of warranty, then used the warranty as the excuse not to properly fix it.

I complained and escalated the issue several times.

Eventually, after a lot of back and forth, they agreed to send me a new unit.

But they refused to ship the replacement until they received my old unit first.

Normally, I understand that policy.

But at this point, I had zero trust in Hotel Collections.

They had already delayed me for months. Their support had been terrible. Their promises meant nothing to me anymore.

Still, I shipped back my Hotel Collections Presidential diffuser unit.

Then somehow, they claimed they didn’t receive it.

Three weeks went by.

Then four weeks.

Then six weeks.

Still nothing.

Or at least that’s what they told me.

This dragged on for another four months.

Eventually, after even more calls and complaints, they finally agreed to send me a replacement unit.

I got the new unit about five months later.

And it was disgusting.

The replacement unit had oil smears and fingerprints on it.

It did not look clean. It did not feel new. It looked like something that had already been handled or used.

A few weeks later, the LCD screen started fogging up with product inside it.

At that point, I was done.

The unit is garbage.

The service is worse.

I’ve called Hotel Collections around 25 times over this issue, and I’ve completely given up.

The reason I’m writing this review on Reddit is because Hotel Collections does not seem to have a proper Google profile where customers can leave reviews. So Reddit is basically one of the only places where I can share my experience honestly.

So here is my honest Hotel Collections review..

Do not buy from Hotel Collections.

**Do not buy the Hotel Collections Presidential unit.**

The product was good for a few months, then became a constant problem.

The warranty process was a nightmare.

The replacement process took months.

The replacement unit arrived dirty.

And after all of that, the new unit still had issues within weeks.

This is my experience.

Maybe other people had a better one.

But mine was brutal.

Once they sold me the first order, the service basically fell apart.

If you’re looking for a luxury home scent diffuser or hotel-style scent machine, my advice is look for another company.
