Suitable Occupational Category?
I'm a bit confused as to which occupational category for migration skill assessment should I use. Appreciate feedback from this community.
Background:
Education: 4 yr Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from top university in India (2012) (not on Washington accord though)
Industry of employment for the last 13 yrs - Oil & Gas
Initial 6 yrs - Oil & Gas Field Engineer - Went to rigs (offshore and onshore) to deploy services from high tech tools. Used technical knowledge and training to deliver engineering services.
Next 4 yrs - Operations planning and Supply chain roles. Handled P&L and ensured availability of engineering resources for multiple projects.
Got Micromasters in Supply Chain from MIT (USA)
Ever since - Technical Service Delivery role. Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and propose combinations of technology and service to them. Lead the operations team to deliver the services.
Possible options for me :
Petroleum Engineer - Not Applicable since I neither have the degree nor do I get involved in hydrocarbon estimation.
Electrical Engineer - Do have the degree, but I do not deal with circuitry or electrical engineering design.
Engineering Technologist - I'm leaning towards this, because I oversee engineering projects and deploy engineering technologies.
Engineering Manager - Do have a team of engineers reporting to me, but I do not report to the highest authority in the country of work.
