Is it normal for BP to rise with activity
I’ve been battling severe hypertension for a year or so and even had a mini stroke. Mine is adrenaline driven due to dysautonomia.
It’s finally been under control if not low. Been running around 115/70 - 95/65 for a few days on. On 160 mg valsartan and 2.5 mg amlodipine .
I’ve been afraid to do any type of activity but trying to get back into it. I can’t be a bump on the log I have four active kids . I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks and got de conditioned so trying to do more and more. When I am active with lots of bending or talking or moving around in the heat my BP goes up to like 140/95 but by the next time I take it it’s back down to normal 105/65 . Is this how it’s supposed to be or should I just stop trying to be active. Prior I was dealing with 200/133 type of numbers. I have a message into my Dr but she keeps saying it’s ok lol. Figured I’d ask here .
Thank you
