Car shut off mid drive and has a no start condition.

I have a 1999 Ford mustang and is an automatic transmission. last monday I was driving home from my girlfriend’s house and mar car shut off randomly and wouldnt turn back on, I dont think its a alternator issue because I replaced that a couple years ago and the car(owned by my mom) had been sitting for 6 months in the driveway before it was transferred to my name, When I turn the key I hear the fuel pump priming and the starter solenoid engaging but not cranking. I suspect it could be the camshaft position sensor but it could be a starter issue, i dont know what could be the issue

Ps the battery is brand new and it has all new fluids, please ask for more information as im at work and Ill try to answer and give more info as much as I can.
