The output speed of GPT-5.5 thinking is game changer for me

All the previous 5.x thinking models took roughly 5-7 mins to answer each questions, it’s not short enough to just sit and wait a response. Now it’s sub 1 minute to 2 minutes for majority of my queries! Made the user experience much better for me.

Before 5.4, it’s painful if you missed a detail and have to wait through 5 mins just for a follow-up. 5.4 improved upon simpler queries and now 5.5 is fast across the board and so far I didn’t notice a drop in output quality.
