On a rewatch, I love the way the show just throws you straight into the thick of it from ep 1

I know its a common complaint and it was certainly jarring the first time I watched it. Youre thinking who tf are these people? Definitely took a few episodes to get into it.

But on a rewatch I can see how brilliant it was. It adds so much to the immersion. It truly feels like entering a world that had been fully living and breathing prior. All the characters act like they've known each other for years. I've gotten a great deal of satisfaction rewatching the early episodes knowing who all these people are.
