What will happen if I mention it to my optician?

I learned what VSS is in the last few months, and so learned that I have it and always have - so I've had a lot of eye tests where it just didn't come up because I didn't know better/assumed it was normal or minor

If I do bring it up to my optician in my next eye test - probably later this year - I'm wondering what that will mean (Specsavers, UK). Will the rounds of visual tests suddenly be longer, more thorough, and will my eye tests end up being more expensive every time from now on?

It's only always been a small case of VSS anyway. Unless I'm looking at something very close up, very far away, or in very low light, it's like the nose in the middle of my face where I think my brain is just so used to seeing it as part of my vision all the time, it just tunes it out of my conscious mind
