Sending an email at 9pm to notify staff of an 8am meeting the following morning is just plain old nonsense

I don’t have my work email on my phone. The only way I see work emails are by logging into my computer, which I don’t do at home unless there is an extenuating circumstance (example- inclement weather affecting school hours).

So sending an email at 9pm on a Thursday night to inform me of a meeting at 8am the next day is just silly and dumb.

My contract hours don’t start until 8:30. I get to school at 8:25-8:30 every day unless, once again, there is an extenuating circumstance or I somehow hit the road earlier than usual.

Guess who missed her meeting?
