Moving from Internet included rental to not

Hi, where I live currently the Internet (and cable) is included in the condo HOA fee so I do get a bill, it is zero$. I am now moving to a condo where service is still Spectrum but internet isn’t included. My new lease starts mid May and I vacate my current condo May end. I needed a little overlap because I work from home and wanted to make sure Internet is setup in the new place. There isn’t even a router there now.

Anyone has an experience with making such a move and how to best deal with Spectrum? I would prefer to do a cancel and new account. Technically I am not transferring the service just leaving it since it is already paid by HOA.
