Reasonable adjustments for IUC Scotland
I’ve been “invited” to a IUC for a public body in Scotland. All fine as I’ve done nothing wrong.
However, I’m currently undergoing brain scans for memory and cognitive issues caused by a head injury. Still awaiting the scans.
The injury has left me with functional speech aphasia issues. It’s documented that stressful periods worsen these episodes to the point I cannot speak or understand verbal or written communication.
My solicitor mentioned just going and trying to answer but I often say the opposite of what I mean.
We have asked for postponement but they are hesitant.
I’m at a loss if I go I might incriminate accident myself if I don’t go they don’t have my side and will according to them “carry on without me)
These are issues that predate any dealings with them so not convienant excuses
Thanks for any help
