Division 1&2 and Stopkillinggames

Now that Ubisoft is forced to release an offline long term patch for The Crew thanks to the lawsuit from the French Consumer Rights Organziation as well as Stopkillinggames, it looks like anything with always online requirements might be affected down the way also. Stopkillinggames is pushing hard for more of video games to change this which is bad business for Ubisoft in general.

It makes me wonder if The Division 1&2 eventually in the future will get an offline mode patch for solo play, I know they've said its impossible due to server stuff but I have a feeling their just lying about it and trying to be anti-consumer considering they've said they want you to be comfortable not owning your games.
