Void forming under concrete basement stairs

What kind of company should I be calling to address a void that is forming from soil erosion under basement stairs. I'd imagine this is flowing water directly down to the foundation, and/or eroding the soil underneath the basement slab. I know I'll need to call someone, but so far no exterior company has wanted to touch this work (but I'm probably not calling the right kind of company).

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Hoping this isn't a "break the bank" kind of fix.
