Is there a more diverse\innovative\mechanicly challenging map\s to play on?

so due to the latest updates and upcoming updates - i was intrigued to hop into the game.

but I'm always feeling so discouraged for some reason... say I do the Vvardenfell map or OG Auridon or something..... the map feels just so static, so generic... hard to explain but its like the maps im playing feel very "template based" and aren't exciting.

which got me to think i might be playing on the wrong maps or just too old maps.

what maps feel the most innovative\mechanicly challenging (if at all exists)?

to be clear, btw - ESO is my all time favorite MMO of all time.
but for the past year or two I've been having hard time to click with the game just cause the maps feel dull for some reason.
