Is this a good sign?

I have had my offer accepted on a house, and I instructed a solicitor right after (too soon, I know. But the sales agent would not put the property as sold STC without this in place and the vendor was receiving higher offers but declined due to them having a chain.

I submitted all documents to the lender West Brom, and the valuation came back as matching the offer I put forward on the property. Today, they asked for my deed poll, proof of my latest stipend payment, they asked what I intend to do once my PhD is complete, and for my latest bank statement. Is all of this a good sign? I haven’t heard back since my broker sent them all in.
