Louisiana traffic ticket never paid and now its not in court records

okay so, i just enlisted into the military and something thats been lingering in the back of my mind is that i never paid a traffic ticket when i was living in louisiana. it was a speeding ticket. however its never come up on background checks for the military or for employment.

i did a court record search AND called the parish (county) that i got the speeding ticket in they said they dont have anything on my record. what could have possibly happened here? im 100% sure i never paid it and im 100% sure i never went to court. wont an unpaid ticket turn into a warrant? is it possible they could have just dismissed it? it is a smaller parish so it may not have been digitalized at the time.
