Revoked Job Offer
So I’ve been trying to get into car sales. Have some sales background. So I had an interview with 2 separate dealerships. First one decided to go with another candidate with more experience. The other dealership I ended up doing 3 separate interviews and was offered the position. I begin the onboarding process and had to pull my MVR to send to them. It includes 1 violation in total. It was a “driving under suspension” in 06/2023. Otherwise there’s no points on my license, it is active and in good standing outside of that one violation. Once they seen that the called and claimed “the insurance company won’t cover you so we can’t hire you”. I’d been told that even if there was an issue most places would allow you to just not drive inventory for the first 2 months which at that time the violation would fall off. Is that correct? Has anybody been through this? I was super excited to get into the industry.
