Is it me or are Nudist Podcast and Blogs just personal hate mongerings?

DISCUSSION

It honestly feels like a lot of nudist/naturist podcasts and blogs have drifted away from being educational or community-focused and turned into personal platforms where people are just trying to win arguments and sully others in the process. And in doing that, they’re kind of dragging naturism down with them.

Take “NNN,” for example. The last few episodes feel way more like a takedown campaign against the current AANR president than anything else all of the sudden. Which is wild, because not that long ago the tone was about actually talking about the positive things she’s done. And at the same time, we’re supposed to ignore the whole “man behind the curtain” situation? The alias, the firing for sexual harassment, all of that? It raises a lot of questions that never seem to get answered.

At a certain point, it just stops feeling credible. Like, who’s actually behind this? Are these even real people? Is Lisa Monroe AI-generated as people have brought up? And what happened to that earlier talk about looking into the identity situation? It all just kind of disappeared. And maybe this is the payback for the dropped AANR endorsement and blowback for his non-apology. Deflection as a defense.

Personally, I’m out. I’ve stopped listening and moved on. The repetitive intro alone was already testing my patience, but the shift into negativity and obvious grudges was the final straw. It comes off less like truth-telling and more like someone over-the-top backlashing because things didn’t go their way. And that’s their choice, but putting that kind of energy out there under the label of naturism doesn’t help anyone, especially people who are new and trying to understand what this community is about.

And blogs aren’t much better right now. There’s a lot of talk about AI-generated images being a problem, but no one calls out AI-written content. You can spot it a mile away. Suddenly every post sounds overly polished, kind of generic, like it’s trying really hard to be profound. And then it’s paired with the same recycled “no one understands me” angle to justify whatever point they’re making. It gets old fast.

So tell me, where are the voices that just want to talk about naturism itself? The community, the lifestyle, the stories, without turning everything into a personal feud or a performance for clicks and pay?

I’ve found some of that vibe with Planet Nude, which still feels more grounded and genuinely interested in the topic. But beyond that, it’s getting harder to find.

If there are still podcasts or blogs out there that are focused on real conversations instead of personal agendas, I’d love to hear about them. Right now it feels like they’re getting drowned out, and I’m hoping they’re still out there somewhere.
