[Thank You] a multitude of thank yous... apologies these are very belated thanks due to me being quite poorly in hospital, having all these cards to open when I got back to my ward brightened up my day SO much! π
u/nonoyo_91 - thank you so much for the pretty "garden of get well wishes" card you sent to me. The words in the card are really meaningful and your kind message and little packet of stickers and washi tape cheered me up such a lot. I'm really grateful to you for taking the time to send me a card and for sending me "positive juju", my specialist placement funding was approved yesterday so I will treasure your card as one which I opened on a day that has brought me some hope in a dark time.
u/CosmicallyConstant - your good luck star was a joy to receive, thank you so much for your kindness. I found out that funding has been approved for my specialist placement, so I am incredibly grateful to you for sending some well wishes my way. I also appreciate the little good luck stickers you sent too, hoping to use them in my hope box when I am up to doing so.
u/Pure-Train-9626 - I'm always so grateful for the beautiful selection of stamps you send on post to me! Thank you for sending me one of your guest check cards from your old server notebooks, I genuinely LOVE them as pieces of art, they are so unique and when I'm lying here in hospital it helps me imagine a whole world of who could be ordering and I make up a whole little story in my head of what their day could be like. Maybe that sounds silly, but it cheers me up a little bit and helps the day pass. I'm really thankful for you taking the time to write to me more than once and will say it again - your handwriting is SO gorgeous. Not writing for a while I feel my penmanship has gone downhill, but I'm hoping after my surgery when I'm in the rehab placement I'll have more time and energy to write back and make offers too.
u/RideThatBridge - Your beautifully decorated envelope with Winnie the Pooh and unique stamps were just the start of such a wonderfully kind card! Thank you for taking the time and care to write to me and brighten up my day, I'm hoping I'll be able to write back after I'm doing a bit better with my health, but I'm really grateful for you for sending me such a pretty card with flowers, just in time for Spring!
u/chiquita61 - What a beautifully handcrafted card you sent me to celebrate Spring! Thank you so much for your time and effort writing to me and especially for sharing one of your special edition Lowrider stamps, I will treasure it in my collection. I'm so touched you took the time to write me such a lovely note and hope to write back as soon as I'm well enough to. Until then, please know how much joy you have brought me and the stickers and puzzles you shared have been a little boost to the boredom of hospital! I especially adore the "Don't Quit Your Day Dream" sticker as on the hard days it feels like giving up is easiest, but I'm going to put that in one of my hope journals and will always remember it came from you!
u/Sneakerlambs - A small thank you for a big kindness - your postcard cheered me up a lot, especially the sweet stickers you decorated it with! Many thanks for taking the time to write to me.
u/passingavery - Thank you for the lovely Harry Potter postcard that arrived in my post! It turned a very ordinary day into something a bit special. You chose such a meaningful Dumbledore quote on what's been a really hard week in hospital, so receiving your card was such a little boost when I needed one. I'm also so grateful to have received my first postcard from Malaysia! The stamp is so pretty and as with other posters, as soon as I am well enough to I hope to be able to write back in return.
u/DubiousGoose - There was something really special about receiving your postcard of "Wisteria heaven" to celebrate Springtime in Japan. Thank you for that little moment of warmth π€ Also loved hearing about your favourite foods! Japan is on my list of places I would love to visit one day so I will have to keep in touch to ask for recommendations! Really grateful for such a pretty card to brighten up my hospital room and will treasure my first ever card from Japan!
u/I-cey - Thank you so much for taking the time to send me one of my all time favourite Banksy postcards! Your postcard really meant a lot to me, I always resonate with "Girl with a Balloon" as I hope one day my health will mean I can be holding the balloon myself. The note you wrote was wonderfully kind too and the sweets were such an added thoughtful surprise. Thank you for sending so much kindness my way π€
u/withininus - I really appreciate you taking the time to send another card my way, your ink brush lettering card with my name is SO pretty, I'm always so in awe of the talents in this sub! Thank you for taking the time to write to me, I was gifted a new fountain pen for my birthday so I'm hoping when I'm recovered from surgery I can write back and make offers to people. Your handwriting is gorgeous, I haven't written with a pen in such a long time I need to get some practice in to write back as well as you do instead of an illegible scrawl π Also have to make a special shout out for the amazing stamp maths, thank you for sharing such pretty stamps with me. As a collector I am really grateful! Used and old are irrelevant to me, I just find the miniature pieces of art so pretty!
