Best way to farm camp items/funds?

I'm trying to get enough funds to mine the Timeworn Ruins (For the dragon-cooldown-horn-thing) What is the best and quickest way to get enough camp funds for it? I've dispatched people out for provisions, timber and armor... but I'm wondering if theres an easy straightforward way to farm these things.
