I don’t ever sleep anymore.

Can’t stay awake—

but fell asleep on the floor.

What’s a brain for?

I’m over forty

and still poor.

Just one more time

I want to feel

something more.

Tonight.

Thoughts grew tight.

Some used to love me—

now they rightfully hate me.

Some used to love me—

now they just tolerate me.

So pedestrian

to always have

and always will hate me.

Some masturbate

when they finally break me.

Choose right.

cute spite.

We do like

when hate feels too right.

Wait for me to OD.

Don’t off yourself yet.

Never knew beauty

like wanting to be dead.

Thank God those days are over—

and you’re not in my bed.

I remember getting

so much speed from Walgreens.

I remember pulling off your clothes,

you clawing my jeans.

Remember losing myself
