Are my Bluray drives dying?

Hi,

I have 2 bluray drives, one samsung and one lg, i can get the model #s if it helps, but both of them only randomly read blurays any more. I have to keep opening and closing the tray before it will finally read anything, if it will read at all. Zero problems just reading DVDs

Do you think the lenses are just dirty or is it something with the drive firmware or AACS level that makemkv reports?
