Gamepad not working on new Thor help

I just received my Thor Pro and while setting it up I noticed that none of the face buttons seem to be working. The home and back buttons do nothing, and when I go to the gamepad test in the settings there's no response from any of them not even the thumb sticks.
The only one that works is the home button. Is there something I'm missing or haven't set up yet, or has anyone else experienced this issue?
