A Portrait of Islington

I know we want (okay, I want, but I assume that others would like to know too!) to know what painting Islington and Hawkes might have of Declan’s (Hawkes’ being gifted (!!) from Declan and Islington buying a piece, I believe), but I also am dying to know:

If Declan had Islington sit for “a collection of artists” years ago then are there, ah, a collection of different Islington paintings or sketches? Even more importantly: did Declan paint Islington? Or was he just the one who set it up (yet an artist getting a muse of sorts to sit for a painting and then not painting him himself truly baffles me!) … am I remembering this right? I can’t

Maybe it’s my wishful artist’s mind, but I’d love to fledge out the art scene/ relationships between Saffronia and Pierce (they do go to the same parties and Saff must know or have heard about it Pierce, so why hasn’t Emma asked her about him?), Declan and so many other artists, Islington being a fine collector of art (including photographs, as he was wanting to acquire one of Pierce’s). It’s not lost on me that Emma now owns a sketch of Hawkes, a painting of Islington, and multiple photographs taken by Pierce. (The beginnings of an art collector herself!) Will they ever sit for a photo of the four of them?

Apologies for the ramble (especially on a first post)
