How snug

I just tried on some bont hybrids. One size fits comfortably but definitely some wiggle room and am slight heal lift. The ones half a size down fit super snug not uncomfy but no wiggle room at all and if I les towards toes are up against end of boot.

Not sure which to go for hoping the smaller ones would stretch slightly after heat moulding?
