I was inspired by this [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Korosensei/comments/1stoa1u/honestly_im_fed_up_with_this_bs/) and I'm not even a Twiona or Yuriona shipper really, believe it or not, but I always try to appreciate every shipping content that I can see someone is passionate about, and I really think this two ships doesn't deserve to be as bashed as they are for simply existing just because they don't rely with the canon, especially when most of the critique I've seen was just a Fiona slander through and through or just hating on someone for daring to prefer her over Yor or Chloe.

Now I won't speak for every Twiona shipper out there, but I always felt that at least in most cases, it wasn't really about them sincerely believing they'll get together by the end of the series or even genuinely hating Yor in the first place as much as them just liking Fiona and feeling symphathetic about her unrequited love situation to the point that they wanted to give her her own happy ending with Loid, without getting her heart broken and I really don't see what's so wrong about it. And yes, I know they are more toxic ones out there too who are either delusional or just ragebait others, but those aren't the ones I'm talking about, I'm talking about the ones who maybe aren't even shipping it, but just say something positive about Twiona and it's all it takes to get them a full-blown backlash on themselves. Yes, Loid and Yor will get together, there's really no doubt about that and I think most of the Twiona shippers in one way or another are aware of this too, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to like the alternative if they really prefer it. People are different and have different opinions after all.

And again, I'm not speaking for every Yuriona shipper out there, but I'm pretty sure most of them are all aware of Chloe and her connection to Yuri by now (and of Franky's with Fiona too, but from what I've seen, Fionky shippers don't really go at it with Yuriona fans as often as YuriKuro do, so I'm just gonna talk about the latter), cause' honestly it'd be pretty hard nowadays to be active in the fandom and not know of Chloe's existance, especially given how quickly she became popular over how recently she was introduced, so if someone still choses to ship Yuri with Fiona instead of her, it's most likely because they simply prefer her over Chloe for this or any other reason you can name and well and whether it makes sense or not, they have a right to. Chloe is a good character, but not everyone has to like her or her ship with Yuri even if that's the most likely canon. Again, people can have different opinions and I don't think constantly spamming Yuriona fans with "Erm...actually...Yuri will end up with Chloe 🤓☝" ahh comments will change their minds, if anything, it'll probably be the complete opposite.

I wasn't born yesterday, so it's not like shipping wars are something new or shocking to me, not to mention spyxfamily fandom is still very tame in that case when comparing it to the other fandoms, but it really saddens me how fans of some less popular ships can't even enjoy them or be open with liking them without getting slandered, so I've just wanted to say something about it even if it won't change much. And again, I know it's probably a very controversial take to have here, but I really needed to rant it out a little. Quoting moistcritical - that's really about it, see ya.

Probably a controversial take, but it's honestly upsetting for me
