Truth2Power: 2Pac - "Got some shit that they ain’t ready for(what you got?) got the secrets of war"

Artist: 2Pac Song: Secretz of War Released: December 21, 1999

Lyric:

Got some shit that they ain’t ready for(what you got?) got the secrets of war

Context (via Genius):

Tupac admired ancient Chinese philosopher, strategist and general Sun Tzu. In prison he read his book “Art of War”, which describes tactics and strategies that are applied in war even today.

Tupac’s “Secrets of War” is revealed in chorus and it basically means that you’re with us or against us. But this simple philosophy goes deep and is one of tactics to keep an order inside his own crew as well. With “Secretz of War” Tupac will have no mercy on his enemies as well as for those who betrayed him. This also brings discipline and order inside his own crew. Because according to Sun Tzu it is very important to punish traitors and show that betrayal is unforgivable.
