AITAH for being mad at my girlfriend for being controlling?

Me (F37) and my girlfriend (F39) have been living together for 3,5 years. We split all the bills and from day one we put in the same amount of money into a joined account. I’ve paid all the bills for the entire time we’ve been living here.

So last month, I forgot to pay the bills by ONE DAY. I’ve managed our bills flawlessly until last month. And it’s not even a big deal, nothing happens if you’re only one day late with your bills.

Now she keeps nagging me about paying the bills, checking up on me and saying she doesn’t trust me with our bills anymore.

She thinks she’s totally reasonable. She says it’s normal to react this way because it’s OUR bills.

I think she’s grossly overreacting. I think she’s being controlling and that it’s strange to lose all your trust in your partner because of one small mistake.

I got annoyed and threw some shade her way. She got mad and now I’m sleeping on the couch.

So, AITAH?
