Why can't I use certain homebrew speciesin dnd beyond?

I was trying to use the "Stand User" homebrew and I couldn't use it, it wouldn't even show up in the homebrew part of the "pick a species" thing

Do you know what's happening? If you do, do you know how to fix it?
