help!! astarion romance having issues :(

yoo. playing bg3 for the first time, didn’t realize i couldn’t do romance in act 3 without locking it in in act 2. deleted forty hours of save. thats fine… im fine… xd

went back to very beginning of act 2 to get approval all the way up for astarion to trigger the confession. i did some research and wanted the post-yurgir confession, so i used the oblodra conversion to get approval even higher.

killed yurgir after a million tries. nothing. astarion is at 87 approval, was before the start of the fight, and no confession. ive done six long rests, all in different locations, and NOTHING. im so so tired and frustrated. do i have to go back on my save again???? i might actually be done with the game for good. what MINISCULE thing did i fuck up? this is so unfair :(
