best study method for older test takers

Hello,

My mom is hoping to transition from an LVN to an RN, but she has been struggling with passing the TEAS. She first took it in February and rescheduled to earlier this month.

She has the ATI teas study guide book and we went through it all together. I felt that her score would improve when she retook it cause she was doing better, but unfortunately she didn’t pass on the second attempt either.

I really want to help her do well. I just don’t know what the best approach would be being that I don’t exactly know how the real ATI TEAS test is formatted. I have only taken the HESI test.

Could anyone please offer resources they used that helped them on their TEAS testing?

Her worst subjects are math and reading.
