Sexual experience & every drain?

So I'm not wholly into the world of spirituality, but lately I've been starting to believe in the idea that our consciousness exists beyond our physical body, as well as the possibility that we all possess an energy of sorts.

I feel like I've been developing a bit of an awareness for my own energy as I've opened up to the idea.

Recently I had a sexual experience with a new partner, and I've found myself feeling drained after the experience. I feel a little less like myself, almost like a diminished version of how I normally feel.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any insight you can share with me?
