[Self-Promote] I built an AI ASO agent for iOS games because I was completely lost after shipping my first game

3rd Party Service

I shipped my first indie mobile game to the App Store a while ago and it completely disappeared in search results. I spent weeks manually testing keywords, checking competitor metadata, reading reviews, and still had no clear idea what to actually change.Every ASO tool I tried was either ridiculously expensive (built for marketing teams with big budgets) or just dumped a bunch of data and charts on me without telling me what to do next. I got frustrated and decided to build the tool I actually wanted.I created Third Eye Metrics with an AI agent called Natto(because the Youtuber I was watching, cooking natto at that time :)) your personal one-eyed ASO co-pilot. How it works:

  • You paste your App Store link or app id, name your 3 main competitors, and give a one-sentence description of your game.
  • You can chat with Natto anytime — ask him for keyword suggestions, competitor analysis, metadata improvements, why your rank might be dropping, etc.
  • Every Monday, he proactively sends you a digest email that contains:
    • Exactly 3 things you should fix this week
    • What your competitors changed in the last 7 days
    • Review sentiment insights
    • A ready-to-paste metadata draft for App Store Connect

No complex dashboards. No guessing. Just clear, actionable advice. Technically, it's a Claude powered agent with real App Store market data (keyword rankings, competitor metadata changes, review analysis). The ASO knowledge is baked into the system prompt, so it actually gives practical advice instead of generic tips (not agi but specialized ai). Being a developer, I struggled a lot with scope creep. I originally wanted to build graphs, timelines, competitor tracking dashboards, CSV exports… the whole thing. I kept adding features until I realized I was just repeating the legacy companies and of course delaying the launch. I've used some open source ai frameworks (gsd, gstack) helped me brutally cut it down to the simplest version that actually solves the core problem. It’s a paid tool with free tier(10 messages). I’d love honest feedback, especially from other iOS game developers who have launched apps or games.

  • What’s the biggest ASO struggle you faced after launching?
  • Would you actually want something like this, or do you prefer doing ASO manually?
  • Any features you think would be genuinely useful (without turning it into another bloated platform)?

Happy to answer any technical or product questions too. Thanks for reading!
