Secured my promotion

I really can’t believe I did this. I’m 27F and a position opened up in my company and it comes with a massive raise. I put in my application but I was told some high level external hires were also applying.

I went through the whole process, and i guess I’m a finalist. The hiring manager wanted to get lunch with me to talk about why I’m the best fit. So we scheduled some time and met up yesterday.
